Program Management > > >
Program management is a comprehensive approach to coordinating and managing various interrelated projects or the numerous components of a single project. When properly applied, projects can be coordinated to obtain benefits not available from managing them individually, even when the projects are not directly related to each other. These programs can require simultaneous management of campus planning, space allocation, facility maintenance and construction projects.
The coordination of multiple, concurrent projects requires thoughtful planning and investigation to maximize the benefits of shared resources and to realize time and cost savings. Equally important is the opportunity to schedule the projects, individual work items to minimize disruption to the clients operations.
Program management may involve the management of planned and ongoing projects while assisting in master planning for future projects. We have the experience in facilitating long-range planning. For example, Meridian staff has provided program management services for several five-year master-planning efforts for the largest health care providers in Alaska. Learn more about our clients >
